Coffee

How do you get your flavor notes?

We do a sample roast & a cupping to get an initial understanding of the bean's flavor profile. Then we 'dial in' the roasts, brew & taste them until we get a flavor profile we're proud enough to share. Our results should help inform and you shouldn't be surprised if your experience is different from ours.

Is your coffee artificially flavored?

Nope. Our coffees are all 100% natural with no additives of any kind.

What is your favorite brew method?

We love all different types of brewing methods but our favorite is the pour over. More specifically, with a Chemex (for multiple people) or a v60 (for individuals).

How fresh is your coffee?

We roast weekly. There's a roast date on all of our bags so you know exactly how fresh they are.

What’s the shelf life of your coffee?

The flavor of your coffee will change as time goes on from the day you get your beans to your last cup. That said, we think our beans taste best between 1-3 weeks after the roast date.

Where do you roast your coffee?

At the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York.

When can I expect my order?

We ship orders within 48 hours and should take around 2 to 5 business days to arrive.

I'd love a subscription to your coffee. How can I get one?

Do you wholesale?

Where is the shop located?

We're located in the heart of Chinatown on the beautiful Doyers St. Our address is 19 Doyers St, New York, NY 10013.

Do you serve food at the shop?

We have a selection of fresh pastries that we get delivered daily that pair we'll with our coffee.

I'm sensitive to caffeine! Do you have decaf options?

Yep! We have an assortment of teas and canned beverages. Check back often as we update our menu regularly.

Do you have gluten free & vegan options?

Yep! A number of our beverage and food items are gluten free and/or vegan. Please inquire at the shop as our menu is refreshed on a regular basis.

What is the parking situation like?

There is street parking all over Chinatown except on Doyers. Doyers is a car free street.
